The solar forecast app

I starded SolarPeak with the idea to use more of your own solar energy. It also came about because the salderingsregeling is phasing out in the Netherlands from 2025. This is disadvantageous if you own solar panels. 

This gave me te oppertunity and idea to create a app to make forecasts for solarpanels. All with the idea that you can use your own solar energy. 

The project group

I creaded a group of six persons on school to work out this idea. We creaded an app and website. We also have to create some promotion material. 

The time that we get are 20 weeks of school. I had the role as productowner and a sort of boss. So make initial ideas and take a look if it is realistic to build. Also make the planning. 

Beyond this I also supported my team on a technical level. I use my knowladge of user experience for the web design and app design. I developed some features in our app and uploaded to the Playstore. And build the website.

Witch technologies did we used?

The app is an Flutter app. We used is because it is an crossplatform and very upcomming way to build apps.

The website is an NextJS website and for styling we used TailwindCSS. It is running on Docker.

We used for the backend fastapi. What is also running on Docker.
